The government announced that Feed-In-Tariff rates will go down on 12th December 2011. The original intention was a 10% reduction in April 2012. The original 43.3p will be paid on all installations including those installed after December 2011, but only until April.
Installations after 1st April 2012 will need to have a prior EPC of a band C or higher. This will limit installations only to modern homes that are well insulated with modern heating. Anyone in an older home needs to complete their installation soon or they will not be permitted to have solar panels at all.
Can you afford to wait until the next financial year and miss out? BSOLAR along with most reputable installers are very busy now and will be increasingly busy in early 2012. Contact us for your free no-obligation quote.
You may miss the boat if you do not book an installation date soon.
